I cycled into St Bartholomew’s this morning and the street opposite the main entrance was lined with paparazzi – I presume waiting to catch a glimpse of me and desperate to hear how I’ve been getting on…

I slept badly the night before surgery and was glad when the alarm went off. After a shower, Tom made me a big breakfast and I tried to drink as much tea and juice and water as possible, only adding to my feeling of nausea. I arrived at Barts early to check in to the…

Hi Cara,
Long time no speak! I’ve just finished reading all of your posts and I’m in absolute awe of what you’ve managed to achieve despite such an awful time. You’re also absolutely rocking the shaved head look, which is good to see. I’ll be thinking of you, Tom and Frank over the coming months and crossing everything for continued positive news.
In the meantime I’ll look forward to a pizza at the Joiners Arms the next time I’m in Bakewell!
